- Initiatives will be achieved through collaboration between private, public and volunteer sectors in the community;
- Where possible, initiatives will tap into existing resources and leverage current efforts – we will not reinvent the wheel;
- It is acceptable to disagree, and we will use disagreements as opportunities for further discussion;
- We have differing needs and realities to attend to (e.g., achieving endorsements from organizations/municipalities may take longer for some than others);
- Partners contributions to the project will differ in relation to the capacity of their organization or municipality;
- We will continually monitor our progress, and adapt our strategy appropriately.
