Gather a group of people together to form a team.
- Teams can be as little or as large in numbers as you wish.

Choose a team name.
- Team names can be creative or simple.

Choose a team color
- First come first serve for colors (lime green, and navy blue are gone)
- Colors do not necessarily have to be t-shirts – Be creative! You could wear shoes, pants, umbrella’s, hats, etc.

Choose a team captain.
- Each team must have a team captain the team captain responsibilities include:

1. Keeping communication open with the team (informing of changes or keeping track of pledges)
2. To answer any questions or concerns walkers may have
3. Team captains will have pledge forms in case walkers need them
4. Team captains will be the people communicating with the walk committee
5. Team captain is responsible for registering their team either online or at registration that morning of the walk.

Each walker is responsible for collecting his or her own pledges from people
- Not EVERY walker needs to pledge (for example, for a family of four with two adults and two children, the family can have one pledge form for their family)

  • After the walk, there will be a lunch for everyone at no cost with prizes, music and FUN!
  • The event will end approximately around 2-2:30.
  • Walkers are welcome to leave whenever they wish after the walk is finished.

This is a walk to raise awareness and to help & celebrate the lives of those who are living with ALS and those who have been effected by it. 50% of the money will go toward research and 50% will go toward ALS patients and getting necessary equipment for them.
